Richard Watts, DDS
Dr. Watts received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 1988 from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. Awarded for “Outstanding Achievements in the Undergraduate Study and Clinical Training of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,” Dr. Watts was selected to continue his dental education at St. Luke’s Hospital advanced residency program in Cleveland, Ohio. After the completion of his residency, Dr. Watts established Watts Dental Associates, P.C. in 1989.
His commitment to education has led him to share his knowledge and experience with future healthcare providers. Since 1998, Dr. Watts has served as an adjunct faculty member in the biological sciences department at Prince George’s Community College.
Shayla Deal, DDS
Dr. Deal graduated from Spelman College in 2008, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Returning to her home state, she attended the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in 2012. She completed a two-year General Practice Residency through the Lutheran Medical Center Residency Program at Choptank Community Health Systems in Cambridge, Maryland. Her training encompassed treating a range of patients with complex medical histories.
Dr. Deal is dedicated to providing quality dental care to all, and her kindness and compassion are valued in our practice.
Kia Foster, RDH
Kia Foster graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morgan State University. Kia is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. Kia has built an excellent relationship with the patients at Watts Dental Associates and has a passion for educating her patients on their oral hygiene care. She is committed to providing a pleasant and comfortable experience for all her patients.
